FTMO currently lists cTrader
FTMO’s current official platform information lists cTrader alongside MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 for its trading environments. That is relevant because NRUNO’s route is based on cTrader. Platform availability can change, so confirm the current configurator when opening an account.
How the route works
Your strategy or indicator remains in TradingView. When the chosen event triggers, TradingView sends a webhook to NRUNO. NRUNO validates and routes the instruction to the connected cTrader cBot. This is not a direct FTMO API integration and does not bypass FTMO’s platform.
Algorithmic trading still follows FTMO rules
FTMO’s current FAQ says legitimate algorithmic trading and EAs can be used when the trading style follows its rules and real-market conditions. FTMO also publishes forbidden-practice rules, including limits on abusive or hyperactive automated behaviour. Always check the latest terms.
Technical compatibility is not rule compliance
A connector may be technically compatible while a specific strategy behaviour still violates a firm’s rules. Frequency, exposure and prohibited practices remain the trader’s responsibility. NRUNO does not determine whether a trade is compliant.
Test before an evaluation or account
Verify symbols, volume, timing, protection and exits first. FTMO also publishes platform-maintenance notices, so availability can vary during scheduled maintenance. Current FTMO information should remain part of your operational checklist.
