cTrader Trade Management Bot
A cTrader trade management bot becomes useful when the entry is already solved but the position still needs clear rules. Many traders can trigger an entry from TradingView. The harder part is defining what should happen after the position opens.
NRUNO connects TradingView alerts to cTrader and gives the cTrader-side workflow several optional management modes: fixed TP/SL, break-even, Step trailing, FVG trailing and Hybrid Step + FVG.
What NRUNO can manage after entry
| Mode | What it is for | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed TP/SL | Simple predefined protection and target | Strategies with known stop and target distances |
| Break-even | Move protection to entry plus offset after price moves | Reducing open risk after a minimum profit |
| Step trailing | Lock profit in configurable stages | Structured partial-style protection without manual changes |
| FVG trailing | Trail using confirmed Fair Value Gap structure | Traders who use FVG logic as part of market structure |
| Hybrid Step + FVG | Combine pip-based staging with FVG structure | More flexible trade management after the first movement |
These modes do not create trade ideas. They execute rules you configure.
Why this matters for TradingView users
TradingView is excellent for strategy logic and alerts. But once the alert has fired, the execution platform still needs to handle broker symbols, volume, account mode and position management.
NRUNO keeps the entry logic in TradingView and lets cTrader handle the connected execution side. That gives you one visible route: alert, cloud routing, cBot, account response and trade-management behaviour.
Practical setup order
- Start with Paper mode.
- Confirm the entry signal reaches the dashboard.
- Confirm symbol and volume handling.
- Add fixed SL/TP if your alert does not send them.
- Test break-even on a small scenario.
- Add Step, FVG or Hybrid trailing only after the simple route is reliable.
This order prevents the classic automation mistake: adding complex exit logic before the basic signal route is proven.
When a custom cBot may be better
A custom cBot may be better if you want to build a fully unique execution engine, manage infrastructure yourself or connect many external data sources beyond TradingView.
NRUNO fits when you want a focused, supported route from TradingView to cTrader with practical cTrader-side controls.
FAQ
Is NRUNO a strategy bot?
No. NRUNO does not decide entries or recommend trades. It routes your TradingView instruction and can apply configured cTrader-side management rules.
Can I use only fixed SL and TP?
Yes. You can keep the management simple and use fixed SL/TP without activating trailing modes.
Can I combine break-even with trailing?
Yes. Break-even can be part of a broader management flow, depending on your cBot configuration.
Should I test this live first?
No. Start in Paper mode and move to Live only after the entry and exit behaviour is clear.
